Walt Disney World Marathon January 2003

I'm Off and Running For Cancer! I need your help...
I have begun an adventure--a journey to Orlando, to run the Walt Disney World Marathon on January 12, 2003 on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and my honored teammate, Mason--a 5-year old from Linthicum, MD who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia.
Leukemia is the #1 killer of children ages 1-14 and strikes 10 times as many adults. It is estimated that 31, 500 new cases of leukemia will be diagnosed this year in the United States alone!
By joining the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training, I have made a personal commitment to raise $3,200 of which 80% will go directly to the mission of the organization. I am asking you to support the cause by contributing as generously as you can to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This will be my first marathon... what an accomplishment to complete 26.2 miles. I feel so honored and inspired to be running for Mason! With your help, I can do my best to cross the finish line and not let them or you down. Thank you for your support! Peace and Smiles, Ohuwa Furblur
